Title: Incidence Settings - Nobler ARF
Post by: Frank Imbriaco on March 02, 2011, 03:30:40 PM
Gents,
Anyone know the stock incidence settings for the stab & wing?
I've been told that the Nobler ARF is similar to the 57 ??
Otherwise, I'm going with zero-zero .
That , along with 2-3 degrees right offset on the engine.
Thanks

:! Frank, if memory serves I set my arf at 0-0 and put a .010 shim under the front of the motor to put just a small amount of down thrust in the engine.
As for side thrust just enough to know that it doesn't have any "in" thrust.

Oh, I also installed adj lead out's.
  Hope that this helps... #^

Stay with zero settings on the ARF Nobler.  I had to do some cutting to get the wing to match the stab and engine mounts.  And a little offset of engine to outside of circle does not hurt as long as it is not excessive.   H^^

I had to use thrust wedges to get downthrust in the engine from my first NoblARF.
