Hangar 9 PT-19 w/Fox 35?
« on: April 12, 2009, 05:42:15 PM »
I have a couple of Mk1 Mod 0 Fox .35s broken in and ready to go.....being a bit skeptical of the Evo .36, would a Fox drive it around the pattern (my supplier can get the Cornell without the engine)?

Thanks,
Kirk

Kirk,
The Fox would be a lot lighter than the EVO .36 .An underpowered tail heavy airplane will be a handful. If you go with the Fox make sure of the CG.Cornell eh?

Ty,

British Commonwealth Aircraft Training Program .Lots of Americans went thru the program before Pearl Harbour,as did flyer's and aircrew from around the world. For many years the Canadian Nat's were held at an old training base (Centralia).

Harvard's,Anson's,Tiger Moths,Fleet Flinches, and yes Cornells were used.Plus a lot of farmer's fields for various reasons.I sure miss that place for our Nat's site.
