Title: Bi slob tank options
Post by: brucefinley on January 07, 2007, 11:09:58 AM
I know Brodak recommends the bh 476, are there better set-ups or best to use uniflow with Fox 35?  What say ye?

Thanks to all,

Tom Niebuhr knows a TON about the Slob....and he says that a standard 4. ounce tank (non uniflow) is what should be used....
I bleive him....the great flying Slobs around here all use them...

I use a 4 oz flexible Hayes tank, plumbed "normal"---not uniflow). It just squeezes into the ARF tank area.

Just get the tank Brodak recommends Bruce. We've been flying Slobs with that tank and Fox .35s for two years with great results.

Bruce,
I agree with Frank on this one.  The recommended tank fits well and provides for about 5 minutes of exciting Slobbing.

That's what I wound up doing, just have to finish it up.
