ARF Ringmaster question

Wing covering on my ARF ringmaster is not stuck down to the back half of the ribs. I assume this should be stuck down?

Hi Wayne
Your ARF Ringmaster is pretty true to the original....therefore has a "pollywog" rib shape. Typically, film covering is "stuck" to the leading and trailing edges and then shrunk.....this means that it bridges the pollywog porting of the back portion of the airfoil.
It's tough to make other coverings follow the contour of the rib...
Just keep your covering tight and fly it.

Greetings!  If you have access to some Sig Stix-it or Balsarite, I'd recommend brushing some on the exposed areas of the wood, allowing it to dry for a few hours before ironing the loose covering (edges only) back in place.  Once the edges are secured then you can tighten any loose areas in the rest of the covering.  Just make sure to secure the edges first otherwise the covering may shrink too much leaving you with a bit of a "challenge!  ;)
