Any News On The SV11 ARF?
« on: June 24, 2008, 06:13:49 AM »
I was told that a prototype was passed around at Brodaks.  Was any time frame mentioned?

Hi Rick....
I understand that the piece at Brodaks was a third generation prototype....and that there will be at least one more.....if things are goood there, then it's a go for production.
John is also going to significantly upgrade the plastic finish, I'm told.....
There ya go!

Hi Rick

The SV-11 should be in the final stages of getting all of the production worries out and should be on target for a late 08 or early 09 introduction, all is looking very good at this time with just a couple of nagging little ones to work out. If all goes well it could be out for Christmas
Say hi to Steven for me, and have fun

Randy

Hi Randy,

Thanks for the update. We are looking forward to its release. Is John (or you?) accepting any pre-orders yet?

I know you are busy at the Nats, but when you get a chance can you let us know if the SV-11 will be available as an ARC so we can be competitive with it in compition by getting APs without having to strip all the covering off (making it an AP legal ARC)and then recover it. ... TIA

Regards,
Rudy

Is there a 'projected' price yet ? and set up for your standard .60 engine non-piped ?

Would be great if the .40 version of the SV-11 (SV-40 ARF) gets into production too.  #^ H^^

Joe:
The Brodak Vector is, essentially, a .40 sized SV....a terrific flying airplane, and available in both ARF nd ARC, as well as KIT.
Have fun!

And very popular.. The ARF has been out of stock for quite some time, ARC still available so far..

Thanks guys,

I always liked the Vector 40.  I would of bought one if I known the Score needs a much bigger engine (.60 2 stroke or a .56 4 stroke engine) before hand.    But I think I'll still get one after the Score, and use my OS .46 LA-S in it.  H^^

Hi Joe,

As it has already been said, the Vector 40 is a Stunt Vector wing like the SV 11 and the other *Stunt Vector* planes from Randy.  The other Randy wing is the Rite Flite wing (may have missed the spelling!) which was in the Nova/Novar  series, IIRC.  I am sure Randy will set it straight if that is not the case.  ;D

Any of the Stunt Vector planes should exhibit similar characteristics if built reasonably well.  Aaron's Satona (SV 24??) is a .40 piped size SV plane of which Randy drew several.  It flies amazingly like my old SV 11 did!
