Title: another score
Post by: B Norton on July 22, 2016, 06:39:34 PM
Ok,after a almost ten year break from flying I needed a test bed for the magnum 52 so after looking to build a larger arf stunt plane. That's when I remembered I'd built a score back then. I'd built it and never flew it because the covering had come of part of fuselage while I was installing a motor. So I dug it out could not find the cowling any where(after ten years who knows)so I just pulled all the covering off and refinished it,after building a balsa cowl, finishing painting the stabilizer and elevator had to be replaced from warping that could not be repaired. Anyway I've got it done and am real happy with it, balanced perfectly ,the 52 ran great the plane flew well was very stable. Now if I can keep from digging holes with it I'll have something to help teach me the patteren again !
