Ok, nothing new here... Just another blue ARF Nobler.
But the one thing about this one is it's mine. And it will be the first 40 size stunter that I will fly that weighs under 40oz! I build heavy.
I had to add .5 oz of tail weight to get the CG right, and it still came out at 39.8oz!!! I can't wait to see how it will feel like to fly a light full size stunter.
I did change out the bell crank, and with the help of Louis Rankin added carbon fiber push rods. Everything else is box stock. Powered by a OS .40 FP. 10.5x 4.5 APC.
Stay tuned...

Thanks Ty.
We do get a few cold days. And I don't like the cold any more. I need to move father south.

Paul,
That looks good buddy. It looks like you met your goal. Call me and I'll give you some ideas for the motor mounts.
-
Hey Zuriel,
I took your advice before I got started and added plywood to the top of the beams. Is there more?
-
Yes. I like to line the mount holes with aluminum.
-
Now that's a good idea. Or are you trying to make me hit 40 oz??? LL~
-
Yep >:D
With the addition of the barrels you will not gain ANY weight. You have to drill the mounting holes slightly oversize to insert the barrels. They will be a snug fit. Put a drop of CA around them and sand them flush with the mounts. Reinstall engine and go fly.

Won't start flying right until you get in the low 40 ounce range. H^^ H^^ H^^
By the way, did I tell you it looks good. H^^
