4 Stroke Strega

<< < (2/2)

Greg L Bahrman:
Lookin for Bob Z,
I was just wondering if he had any further flights on the new Saito 62 and how's it working out in the Strega ??   Thanks

Ralph Wenzel (d):
With a huge assist from Frank Williams today, I have shoehorned the YS FZ.63S into Strega. It is an extremely snug fit (the Saito .72 fits more easily!), and I'm still trying to visualize the plumbing arrangement to minimize component interference. One detail I have already determined with absolute certainty is that I need smaller fingers!

I intend to retain the stock throttle, with some arrangement for locking it into place at whatever power level seems appropriate. This is one very "busy" front end; there is tubing all over the place. I'll post photos when I have some results.

Bob Zambelli:
Hi, Greg - sorry but no more testing has been done.

It's just too cold here to fly.

The SAITO .62 is still in the Polaris - I have not yet acquired a Strega.

Bob Z.
