MNT Handle Dimensions
« on: December 12, 2010, 08:10:28 PM »
Can anyone provide the dimensions for the 80 and 85 MNT hardpoint handle?
Does the handle come with two lugs? It looks like there is only one pictured which seems a little strange to me. . .

When I go to Home Depot to choose a pair of garden gloves I must confess I have to choose from the ladies rack. But I am very happy to have a dexterous and creative pair of hands.  ;D

Thank you,

Damian

HI Damian,

Not Randy, but as far as I can tell, the "85" stands for the millimeters of open space in the "hand" part between the arms.

The "lugs" in the picture are the adjustable arms that go into the top and bottom of the handle.  The do allow some overhang adjustment, and of course line spacing.  There are two included, made of thin steel.  All the screws are allen/socket head and metric and a set of allen wrenches are included.

I am sure Randy will comment and correct me if I am wrong.

Thank you very much, Bill. This gives me a good idea of the overall proportions and I'm glad to hear it comes with two lugs; I wanted to be sure if wasn't a single-lug bias set-up.    H^^

Hi Damian,

I just measured a new "100".  It measures from inside edge to inside edge (middle of the "C")...... wait for it.................... 100MM.  LL~ LL~

AFAIK, 100 is the biggest that Kaz makes.  Across my fingers at the first joint in from the tips is right at 100MM, so you can gauge from that type of measurement what size yo need.
