How much weight is shaved by going to a mag head on the PA 40 ultralite, and changing to a mag head and backplate on the rear exhaust PA 61? Does it change the run characteristics of either engine?

Hi Gordon I Would have to weigh them, but you save 30% in weight against aluminum, the run is the same, only difference is the aluminum threads are more robust than magnesium threads, which have to be treated very careful.
