Title: What were those round models, Platters?

I need to build some indestructable trainers for this weekend, I recall a fun looking round format model someone had a PDF plan to on some web board. Any one remember it and know where to send me on this?

I found it, Osbourne Platter, on the Aeromaniacs site. free download.
Any one have a favorite material for them?

I realize that you posted in the half A section, but depending on exactly what you plan for your Platters, they can be scaled up somewhat.  I have one that is 24 inches in diameter, powered with a Fox 19.  It does pretty well, lazy eights, inverted, loops, and isn't too fast.  Flying on 52 foot lines, you need to put some kind of rudder on it, or you won't be able to see the thing.  Mine has bounced pretty hard more than once without damage.  I wouldn't go more than 24 inch because the corroplast gets floppy.

These are just a few from my hanger, we fly them often, the white ones are coroplast and the blue one is corfoam.

Neat idea to use a canopy to hold a baloon tank.
