10-10-10, 5.5x2.5 APC about 19K on the ground.  Holuszko venturi, Merlin glow-button.
Think S.M.A.L.L. y'all and, it's all good, CL, FF and RC!

Hello Larry,
That is about what I use. I must admit that I can't really get used to the way the Wasp runs, fueled and propped that way. I have been flying small stunters from the 60s and they were designed mainly for a good 1.5 cc diesel. I just can't get used to such a small prop and high revs! I keep getting the feeling that the nose of these stunters are blanking out some of the airflow from such a small prop!
Proof of the pudding says that I am wrong and the models fly better than I can. Just shows how ingrained habits can be wrong!

Regards,

Andrew.

It took me a couple of years to transition from standard Cox type engines to Norvel/AP type, and a few smashed models and a lot of frustration.  Start with my recommendations, THEN do your own thing.  The two types of engines run VERY differently, and certainly WAY different from a diseasled engine (which I love to run, also).  ;D
