Dwayne, my White Lightning has been on the back burner for months. I cut and assembled the pieces then went to paint. I chose a piece of balsa for the fuse that was probably too light. I shaped and sanded just as the plans indicated. The fuse is very thin only 1/8th at the tail. I decided to silkspan the fuse as to get some stiffness out of it. This worked but its still a bit more flexible than I would like it to be. I chose some fairly stiff balsa for the elevator and stab. My problem is that I think if it goes in, the weight of the tail parts may just snap the fuse. Nonetheless, I moved forward with paint and ran into some major problems. I just can't believe how tail heavy this plane is. I've heard this mentioned by others that built the model. I know it was designed around the Tee Dee or Norvel. You stated that you enlarged your stab, didn't this make yours even more tail heavy? Ken
