If you're really a 'puter nerd, Outerzone has a "tag matrix" search facility. I think it uses cookies, so I can't give you my search -- but here's the URL, and a picture of the boxes I checked to find all eight plans they have for CL triplanes (I didn't try to narrow it down to just 1/2-A).

Allen Brickhaus' biography is in the hall of fame section of this website, and it lists all of his published designs and articles. The only multi-wing model I think he did was the Laird Super Solution for Flying Models. A mutual friend of ours, Rich Raftery from our local club here, built the model used in the article. Both have passed away and I have the model in my possession. I do not believe he ever did any kind of triplane. As already mentioned, try Pat King at PDK models in the vendors section. I don't think there is too much that Pat hasn't designed!!
Type at you later,

Somewhere I have a copy of simple plank wing/profile WWI planes that use a Babe Bee. I believe there are three models on the plans, and at least one (ISTR more than one) triplane on the plan. If I find it, do you want it? I can email it since it is a PDF.

I just looked at Pats baby ringmaster triplane and man... it surely is neat!!! I may need to overhaul a black widow for one!

Where would I find those plans Jim

About 2/3 way down the linked page. It is a jpg, not PDF. But it sure looks usable.

I spotted the Bipes & Tripes plan recently and thought it's a clever idea, but the magazine plan itself is pretty "fuzzy". I have enlarged it and converted to a pdf file that should be the right size - send me your email address if you want the file, it's about 1-1/2 Mb. It isn't the prettiest plan you'll find, but it should be fine for building!
