Title: Toronto Musciano Results, September 26, 2009
Post by: Paul Smith on September 28, 2009, 07:54:33 AM
There was just one event: STUNT, which included 40 appearance points out of a possible perfect score of 360.

Unlike some other hollow log events, you needed to leave the landing gear in place to score winning points.  The venue was a large donut-type speed circle.  You had about a half-lap to take off, then the wise flyer retreated over the grass to stunt, and finally returned to the tarmac for an upside-right landing.

1st Place - Chris Brownhill - Golden Hawk (yellow) - 306
2nd Place - Paul Smith - Golden Hawk (clear) - 303
3rd Place - Lenny Bourel - Mustang (silver) - 278
4th Place - Keith Morgan - Mustang (clear) - 277

1st Junior - Nick Bajaikine - Golden Hawk (camo) - 124

This was "one plane per entry" deal, so the Staggerwing and Combat Master stayed on the bench.  Maybe it was bad call, since appearance points divided 1st & 2nd places.

Ever notice that people are always smiling at a Musciano event?

Possibly connecting fond old memories with good new ones in many cases.  H^^
