They look very nice. Hard to rebuild a Cox Bee engine that won't run after a rebuild. They're pretty much foolproof if you do a good job and pay attention. I just grabbed a Babe Bee out of the "engines to rebuild" box that was mostly there. I took the rest of the needed parts from my spares and rebuilt a stock Babe bee for a father and his son that came to the field last week and were interested in flying. I said I'd cut him a kit and come over to their house so we could build it, figuring I'd never hear from them again. But the son is bouncing around, pestering him every day to see what he needs to do for our build, and he texted me a couple more times. We're going to do the build on Thursday. I ran four tanks through the 5cc Babe Bee tank, and it ran perfectly. Then I completely disassembled the Bee so the son can rebuild it on Thursday afternoon. I'll bring the fuel and clip so we can run it after the rebuild. If they like it and continue, I'll swap in an 8cc tank for them to get more run time.
Can't wait to hear how you engines run. What are you building for them?
