P-40 RED TAIL
« on: May 22, 2010, 03:11:21 PM »
I have just completed our new P-40 RED TAIL prototype (It is NOT like the Scientific Model of the same name) This is a hollow log model and is an up grade of our old P-40.  Now it has a Vacuum formed canopy, engine cowling and new decals.  This kit will be out next month.

Hi Larry.
Very nice and graceful model. Did you test fly it ?
The engine is mount inverted or side winder?
Regards

Carlo :)

This model has been in our line for about 6 years and has been flown many times but never had a cowling, formed canopy or these decals.  This is a box art model and while the engine is mounted inverted (hard to see in the photo) this model was not made to fly. For more pictures of this model check our web site under "FS" models.

Thank You
Larry

The molded parts and canopy are a huge improvement toward making the kits more attractive building projects.
