Anybody know anything about this engine?  Looks pretty nice, little pricey though

I bought one and I couldn't get it to run.  gave it to one of my co workers and he got it to run but it wont run at idle only full throttle.

I would stay away from these engines.  just my $0.02

They have the reputation of being gutless and heavy, but easy stating and friendly.  But there is a new one with improved porting.   Rich Porter liked it but he is way out there.  http://community-2.webtv.net/RICHARDPORTER3/SHOCKANDAWESTUNT/

The best of the lot was (out of production) the Norvel .074.

I have 2 of them with only one ever run. Like all small engines tip the nitro to it and you will get a little more out of it.
As an interesting footnote Bob Davis made a diesel head for the engine and it really helped when running a 7/3 . Been too long to remember the actual figures on it though.
