New life for Hyper Viper Wing
« on: November 03, 2009, 08:59:35 PM »
Hyper Viper wing from a crash. Tried to keep same fuselage size as Cox model but it came out tailheavy, cut 1 1/2 inches off the backend of the fuselage. Norvel .061 power with 2 oz. clunk tank. Flies great and a long time, about 8 minutes. Muffler pressure and short fuel line keeps run very consistent throughout. Will fly all manuevers i can do on 48 foot spiderwire including vertical 8's,overhead 8's,inverted, outsides.  Does not glide real well, needs to land within a lap, but sure is a lot of fun to fly!!   y1
Ray from Greensboro, North Carolina , six laps inverted so far with my hand held vertically!!! (forgot to mention, none level!) AMA# 902150

So by now you should have had a chance to fly it.  What's the result?  I always thought that was a beautifully done wing.  Mike Pratt is one of the "all time" best designers.
Think S.M.A.L.L. y'all and, it's all good, CL, FF and RC!
