Title: TD pusher prop?
Post by: Mark Mc on September 29, 2020, 02:01:28 AM
I just made up a TD.051 with a left-hand crank, and I have a second left-hand crank to throw into a TD.049.  That'll give me two sets of engines to run in twins.  But I can't find suitable pusher props.  I bought the Master Airscrew 5x3 pusher and tractor 3-blade props, but they seem more like an electric prop than an I.C. prop.  The package doesn't say electric only, and the MA website doesn't say that either.  But the props just seem awfully flimsy.  Anyone know where I can find matching tractor and pusher props for a TD?

When I built  a set of TD 049s ( one LH crank) for a twin--0- I got Master Airscrew 3 blade props...they have 5x3,  6x4 and 7x4 inch  each in tractor or "pusher"

Motorman, thanks for the link.  I'll think on those.

Fred, are those the thin, undercambered blade props?  I bought a couple of those in 5x3 and they just seem more like electric props than a prop that could handle a TD.  How did they work for you?

These are made for internal combustion engines
