Guys,

Can you suggest a tank size for completing the full pattern with a TD 051.

1.25 ounces. Tee Dees are thirsty! An AP Wasp only needs 7/8 oz. and is perfectly happy on 10% Nitro.

Tim I think u will get a better run if u stick a Medallion front end on the TD

Actually, you need the Medallion crankshaft. The Tee Dee venturi is fine.

Tim I have a new complete TD case with a Medallian crank and plastic front end with needle valve assby  if u would like it

Try a 9 inch balloon, if that doesn't quite make it you can try the 12 inch. If you choose the hard tank make sure it is close as possible to the engine for best fuel draw. After you are successful post your set up for all to see. Good luck!

I may take you up on that, I should have my new model ready in a couple of weeks, I give it a try on the .051 setup....heck I don't even know how well the model will fly. I will post pictures when done...till then its a secret....no sense embarrassing myself just yet #^

Looking forward to the event at Brodaks.... I think it may be the most fun we have all week

OH my god, a 1.5 once tank looks like a 55 Gallon Drum on the side of my plane......really guys???????

I may have to rethink my engine selection....wow ~^ ~^ ~^

Its almost ready to post pictures...I think it is cute as can be...may not fly worth a damn....but cute  #^

Tim, set your engine up on a test stand and time it to see how long it runs on the 1.5 tank
