1/2A or Scale? Sooo confusing,,,,

OK, I went with 1/2A.

Last year my Sabre came in second behind John Vlna's Japanese bomber.  I concluded that singles didn't have a chance and upgraded to a twin. This is my first twin ever and thus far it has flown three successful flights.

But the picture is of a Sabre?

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

But George Marenka's airline DC-3 squeezed us both out.  All three twins beat the whole field of singles.   With a simple flight task consisting of start engines, takeoff, ten laps, and and upside right, beauty is everything.

I brought the Sabre as a backup in case the Skyrocket didn't fly or maybe the twins didn't show, but it wasn't used.

You can get 50 points with a single or 55 with a twin.  As the numbers prove, you NEED the 5 points.  Well, almost. With perfect static and flying points you could, in theory, get 120 and win.
