Curious about Sky... series
« on: July 25, 2019, 06:15:40 PM »
Hav any of you built and flown a SkySport, Sky Streak, Skyfire or my version of the Baby Magician? All published or kitted.

Balanced and tuned correctly, they will all do a pro quality pattern in good air. Of course they can’t compare to a “big one” in less than perfect weather.

Still, fun models to fly.
Think S.M.A.L.L. y'all and, it's all good, CL, FF and RC!

Sky Sport kit. Flies fantastic.  I took it to Brodaks Fly In but chose to fly Ray Stone's Skywriter instead.

Mr Renger,
Any chance you have links to these plans? I need to start planning my next bird.

Thanks in advance,

I built the Skyfire, still have it although it is a bit beat up. It was and still is a good sport plane.

Mr Renger,

Thanks in advance,

SkySport is an RSM kit. RSM can also provide plans and parts for the SkyStreak and Baby Magician. Flying Models published the original SkyFire  and the 4.0 version.

For ease of building and top performance, the Flying models published Baby Magician is tough to beat.
