Spectra/Spiderwire lines
« on: September 09, 2013, 11:00:44 AM »
I have seen plenty of discussion on spectra/spider lines but the one question I have not seen posed is this:
What is the official AMA stance on this type of line for 1/2a flying?

Thank you,
Jim

Thank you. The last and only time I flew with the local club they said I would need to get some "real" lines if I wanted to keep coming back.

I guess they aren't keeping up to date with the rules, are they. Jim, is that a public park you sometimes fly in when you make your videos?

Yep, public park that is also one of the flying sites for the local club. My days off work are usually during the week so I always get the place to myself.
