Due to a series of unfortunate events, the Sky Streak needed some repair and a thorough refinishing.
Here is the result. The stars are chrome, and the lettering gold.

Larry,
Really nice finish.

I agree, very nice job. That plane just looks mean. I can't wait until Dan Banjock finishes his in the Skunk Works. Ken

Any idea as to the size he intends? I would put it around 1000 sq.in. if I was doing it!
And maybe Impervium spars with Unavailabilium sheeting and capstrips. Adamantium veil as a strengthener might be nice.
Some sort of 4th dimensional woven string film for covering. Followed by Stasis Field paint. (Checkered, of course)
That should survive the first flights. LL~
Keep us posted!

Don't ya' just wish we could get Banjock out here to the Left Coast for a while? Sure would help liven things up!

Thanks for the compliments. I really do think I blew it on the original color scheme. I can't at the moment think of where it might look good, even on an Edsel.
I toyed with the idea of redoing it all in Da-glo colors, and my wife, usually very concervative, thinks I should have. Maybe on another model... ~^
