I just realized that I never posted the fact that RSM is now kitting my Sky Sport design! #^
If you have interest, go to rsmdistribution.com and look at the catalog.
If any Stunt Hangar crew purchase and build the model, I would love to see a posting of your opinion! H^^

Amazing! 62 viewings so far, and not 1 comment! Is this a record?

Cute little plane Larry. How does it fly?

Flying against "big" profiles, Bart Klapinski scored 497 and I got a 468. Ted Fancher, Phil Granderson, Larry Fernandez, John Wright and others have flown it and liked it.

Larry,
Catalog shows a Wasp, has the plane flown with a TeeDee? I don't have any AME or Norvel 1/2A motors, but have several TD.049 / .051, and a few Med .09s.

I don't recall flying it with a Tee Dee, but I have definitely flown with a Medallion .049. The Tee Dee would have much more power, of course, but probably won't go through maneuvers as steadily. Power with the Medallion was quite satisfactory, the key being to use an appropriate line length to keep the lap times in the mid- to low 4 second region. I have flown on lengths from 42 to 48 feet of .008 line. For sport flying, you could use Spiderwire (not the monofiliment version).

I have flown Larry's Sky Sport and was very impressed how this 1/2A model
maintained line tension thru every maneuver . I need to build one , but too many projects
for now , wait till retirement !
