I just reviewed the article proofs, and am happy with them. The article will be out in the July issue. RSM can cut you a set of parts, and the plans will be available from Flying Models.
At the Palmer Memorial contest, yet another Nats winner flew the plane. Bart Klapinski won the 1cc event with it. 460+ points in nasty, gusting conditions. #^

Larry:
This is great news. Congratulations!
I am really eager to get very familiar with this little critter!
Thanks for letting us all know.

I have not finished reading Larry's article, but it is pure gold. The bit about the muffler pressure double balloon tank is really neat.

Actually, the Sky Sport article has come. My July issue of Flying Models arrived in today's mail and the first thing I did was devour Larry's article. Great stuff here, folks. Thank you, Larry!

Hi Larry,
I got my Flying Models today, also. I enjoyed the article! The cost of the plans from FM is actually almost double the cost of the Big Job plans........ ??? (ouch!)

It does have the separate parts sheet page so you don't need to damage the building plans. I guess that would do it, though surely the plans to the Big Job are on a lot larger sheet. I dunno. ???

My issue came Saturday. Larry, that is one nice looking plane!

It seems that FM charges a premium for new plans, then reduces the price later. I don't know how long this takes.
Bart Klapinski did it again, winning 1cc at the Knights' Joust yesterday with a score of 517. Beat me with my own model, as expected.
