Howdy, All. The wife is out of town for the weekend, and I don't feel like spending the weekend unpacking boxes or doing house work, so I think I'll build an airplane. Or at least finish one of the built-up wing Skyray kits I cut out. I can't find my original Skyray kit, so I don't have the wing to look at for the wingtip profile. Could someone post a good picture of the wingtip from the top so I can make them up?
Thanks,
Mark

Why not look at the picture in the Sig catalog (sigmfg.com)?

Lay a quarter on each corner, trace the radius and cut/sand to shape.

Numismatically, your Skyray 35 fidelity points will go up if you use a Liberty dollar for the TE trace-O-matic and a Kennedy 50 cent piece for the LE....
I can't help you with the straight line between them. After a very crooked life, I'm still trying to "straighten up."
Now, wait, you say. This here's the 1/2A section of the forum and we ain't talking about no Skray Three-Fiver. We're talking about a Skray Bambinoso. Oddly, yer gonna need even bigger coinage. You can use the big Liberty dollar now for the TE, but yer gonta need a honkin' coin for that LE. Sucker is about a 3-1/4" diameter, so fuggedaboud silver and go for a big pickle jar lid.
Good luck going in all them circles....

And here's the real deal....

Thanks, Guys.
Bill, there are no good photos that are perpendicular to the wingtip shown on the SIG website that I can see. I am trying to get a close to accurate as I can be.
Dave, I appreciate the photos. I suppose I can extrapolate from your second photo. I assume that’s an old photo? I’m looking for a photo looking straight down so that I can adjust the photo size on my printer to cut out the wingtip and paste it on the balsa to make the wingtips.
Have Fun,
Mark
edit: I got the photo I needed from a fellow modeller. Thanks a lot, Guys!
