The subject has probably been discussed before ... but has anyone seen some of the later 1/2-A models Scientific advertised?

In the hundred years or so I've been at it, no sign of any -

WWI Biplanes
Fokker Triplane
Built-Up Wings Douglas SBD Dauntless, Grumman Hellcat, Grumman Wildcat, Hawker Hurricane, Hawker Typhoon, Mitsubishi Zero, Super Cub
Piper Sea Scout with Floats
P-38 Lightning

Was I just looking in the wrong hobby shops?

Hi Mr. Dennis,

You can find most of what you seek being kitted by Dave Cowell. He and I shared materials quite some time ago. A couple you seek aren't in his catalog.

Duane Holliger also digitizes old kits. Key note is his stuff lands on OZ shortly after he builds and showcases his work on CEF. My own 1/2A Scientific "Cowell-clone" builds (and my two boys' first planes) are on CEF and RCG.

Thanks Jim!  I have purchased from Dave Cowell and his work is awesome.  But I have no idea what CEF is - can you elaborate?

The best non-hollow log plane I built was the Cadet.  Built-up wing and box fuselage.  Flew great.
Due to the rules of the hollow log events, these were ruled-out.

I failed to put my hand on a Cadet pitcher, but I hit upon a Zipper, which is of the same type, plus the plastic top/canopy.
