Rubber bands for Cox RTF plastic planes
« on: November 18, 2020, 02:00:43 PM »
I have several of the Cox RTF plastic planes that I'm planning to use with the kids at the foster care center.  I found out that the original rubber bands for the Cox PT19 were size #12 natural gum rubber.  Can't seem to find those.  Everyone has crepe rubber bands.  Don't seem to last more than a few minutes with fuel on them.  Does anyone know where to buy size #12 gum rubber bands?

Just buy whatever the cheapest ones you can find and that hang on tight enough to do the job. I remember when there were real office supply stores that sold a large variety of rubber bands. Office Max and Office Depot only carry 3 or 4 sizes. Amazon and eBay have a variety but I like picking something up and holding it in my hand before I buy it.
