I've been looking at bladder tanks and the use of hemostats/clips has bothered me a little because I don't like to rush things around a 18,000 RPM prop. Bill Bischoff has a great idea on his rat racers that may offer a solution to the problem of keeping the engine from flooding until you get it running. Take a look at this post:

Go down to the photos of his device. It would work great with a very slight adaptation. What do you think?

IV slide clamps ids what I use for all my bladder apps. The 2 at the top of the pic. You can let them dangle on the fuel line or on my foamies I epoxy them into the wing sideways. Then you just slide the fuel line to open or pinched. https://www.google.com/search?q=iv+clamps&biw=1600&bih=785&tbm=isch&imgil=ahwny6qkTXmrCM%253A%253BrTz_BiJKSkg7OM%253Bhttp%25253A%25252F%25252Fwww.chinamedica.com%25252Fproduct%25252F837.htm&source=iu&pf=m&fir=ahwny6qkTXmrCM%253A%252CrTz_BiJKSkg7OM%252C_&usg=__VLWZM084DJ6kS3h3anAtu1j8-ko%3D&ved=0CG4Qyjc&ei=sr4BVeyPJoKNyATl9oDICQ#imgrc=ahwny6qkTXmrCM%253A%3BrTz_BiJKSkg7OM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.chinamedica.com%252Fadmin%252Fwebedit%252FUploadFile%252F2006420171550522.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.chinamedica.com%252Fproduct%252F837.htm%3B400%3B300

I like the control horn idea. But I made one up the opposite. I have a hook holding it closed for start, then slip it free to release clamp on fuel to let it flow. This control horn setup seems much easier than the hook setup I did.
