Hi Walter. How are ya? Real sharp looking model so far. The dihedral and cheek cowl make it really stand out

Dane, Trying to stay sane ,finishing up lots of stuff I started, building the kits I really wanted to build all along which are 1/2 A and Scale stuff.
Going to get to the kits I got from you 1/2 kits from DPC Models . Thanks again for that. Also doing slot cars again 1/32 home race plastic tracks , this time since no commercial tracks in Oregon. Scalextric, Ninco, and Carerra Tracks non Digital. Is your track in Vegas still in operation?

I actually haven't been to the track in a while before this shut down. I'll have to see after another phase or 2 of opening! Last I heard, yes they were. There's also some neat indoor RC car race tracks that have been doing well.
Glad to see you building little stuff. When I get my garage set up, I'll be back to building also.

Mr. Walter,
AeroWerkes kits? As in, DPC Models/AeroWerkes? You have some Dave Cowell kits?
Whatcha got? My boys built his Scientific Typhoon and FW-190. I'm in the middle of the Red Tiger, and a prototype Mini Mosquito (2x.Pee Wee 020). I also have a short pile of other DPC kits.
Enjoy the build!

I have the DPC Models Typhoon, F 190, and Scientific 1/2 A P-38 Very good deal for the price , Plastic cowl etc Laser cut ,plans super happy to have them .

My oldest boy's FW-190 is on RCG in their 1/2A forum. My youngest has his in RCG's Control Line. Both are under my username (same as here).
I recommend you double up the center ribs on the DPC kits. There is precious little to bond the fuselage to as it is...and there isn't much wiggle room if you wind up having to recover a wing. Also watch for ways other than glue to secure those engine cowls, just in case an engine needs service work. I wound up ordering a replacement cowl when I had to fix one of the Bees.
Babe Bees will make those two very nose heavy.
There is a guy on FB that did a mighty fine job on his original Sterling P-38 in iron-on silver.
I also grabbed the DPC/Sterling 1/2A P-38, but haven't built it yet. Then there is the P-6E profile model, and I have the matching Zero to the box-fuse turtle deck Red Tiger. The Red Tiger lacks only landing gear and final paint.
Then I have a small pile of BHM kits...the Electra, a Hurricane, and the biggie...the 34" Musciano/Scientific Challenger. I really want to take a whack at the Challenger!
So many kits, so little time...I worked through the whole "Run for the Bunker" episode over the last two months. At least I have a job that wants me...that's a good thing!
