Title: Old Tee Dee engine mount needed.
Post by: Paul Smith on February 20, 2013, 10:15:25 AM
Is anybody holding a Kirn Kraft or Custom Craftmanship screw-in mount they want to part with?
How about a red plastic tank mount?

I'm trying to put together a matched pair for a twin.

If you want to go with the aluminum radial mount you can get them here:  :)

Ray,

Thank you very much.  I received the tank today.  Now I have a par to work with.

Can you stunt those red tanks or do they just feed off the bottom?

There' certainly not "full stunt".  But I might be able to do an outside loop, lazy eight, and a lap or two inverted if it do 'em early in the flight.  The tanks are pretty big for a 1/2A so I'll have some time before the pickup position becomes a factor.

On a 1/2 A scale job they're a lot handier than making a tank and finding a place to put it.

An excellent question for which I never got an answer. Also with stunt venting why is the pickup in the wrong place?
