New Lil' Wizard
« on: July 24, 2009, 06:19:15 AM »
I just got one of the reproduction kits of the Lil Wizard.  It has been redesigned for a rail mounted engine.  I want to use a Black Widow engine.

Can anybody tell me how far forward of the wing leading edge I should cut the profile fuselage to mount a plywood firewall?  In other words, I want to build it as per the original design.

The old design had a two piece firewall system held together with rubberbands. The wing leading edge to the engine mounting surface was 2 3/8 inches.
