I think that Keith made to full Colonel.

The original Tercel was 10% smaller and had curved side planking. With the non availability of .049 engines and readily availability of .061 engines, the size increase is justified.

One of our more active builders has one under way. I look forward to the result. If I can keep him on track not to put in a bigger engine. So far he has proposed an 09 and a Cox Queen Bee .075 (ghastly engine). I have to remind him that .061 is the limit. He just falls in love with his latest acquisition.

Larry,

I saw a partially built Tercel on the table at the field Sunday. Must be the one you are talking about. Looked pretty good so far! (I'd be tempted to put a K&B Greenhead .09 in it.)

Since Mr. Rad repainted his Tercel in a Coast Guard scheme, I figured that the plane had joined the Coast Guard. They ain't no cunnels in the Coasties; whut they got is Captains, like in the Navy. (Equivalent to a full bird...which was the rank that Bob picked out.)
