Mustang update
« on: February 08, 2010, 06:54:59 AM »
It's coming along nicely, so far weight is 6.7 oz. so I don't see any problems with the modified sure start having enough power. I also received the sub induction piston cylinder from Cox international and the merlin head, both pieces are very nice and the workmenship is top notch there is a noticeable increase in compresion so I can't wait to tach this thing and see how many more rpm's I get. So now it's on to finishing and if we get a mild day up here I'll fire it up and post a report.
Thanks
Dwayne

Very cool Dwayne, i believe if you keep the paint lite you should be fine. I love to see the sure start motors being used. Another plus for the Merlin plug is a spring loaded type igniter will work. Also, if you have any run issues with the metal tank it appears you have enough room for a balloon. Keep us posted !!

It looks fine to me!  :) Maybe some simple panel lines with a Sharpie when done would really bring it up a notch when you finish her.
