Didn't exactly 'land', rather 'fell to ground'.
The prop went sailing when the crank broke.

Post by: john vlna on June 04, 2017, 11:43:24 PM: Yeah I couldn't see that on the video. Too bad about the crank. I have noticed with gyros that a bit of up after the engine quits will usually let them autorotate to the ground.

That was the first time I ever flew a gyro although.... I have flown a pita .....

I've experienced the too-short bolt phenomenon.
