Thanks Roger.  I just sent an e-mail to Dankar.  Yes, the rain has begun.  It is going to be a great day to sand in the shop!  Jim

Just an update to let everyone know that I received a TIFF file with the VECO Scout plans this morning.  Already back from the printer! Thanks Randy.

Built this Scout from plans Joe Wagner supplied to me. Used a product engine modified by Joe. Flew OK on 42' stranded. Changed this week end to a TD. Will fly when weather permits.  Don't know if the photo will attach. If not I will try again.

Nice Scout!

I was given a nice set of plans for one. Joe Wagner version. I also have an original Dumas Scout kit as well although they are slightly different as you may know. Let us know how it flies on a TD.

Tom Hampshire I believe is flying one of these with a Cox Medallion . I must say, Tom can really put that plane through the maneuvers. Tom's plane is cream and blue. The plane is few years old currently and the last time I saw Tom flying it was last winter. We were out on a coooooold day at the Garden State Circle Burner's field. Hopefully Tom sees this post and gets a pic of this plane. A neat little piece of nostalgia and it really does a wonderful job flying. Ken

Good to know Ken, I have heard the rumors that they fly well, just never seen one in action!

Some place I have Veco plans which I believe are not full size ,plus full size patterns of parts. I was even thinking of making several kits once patterns were made but not worth effort. Real cute model maybe dig them out and cut some wood ?
