Title: McCoy, Testers, Wen-Mac .049 needle valve Where can you get them
Post by: propjobbill on January 02, 2008, 02:00:15 AM
Where can a person get needle valve asemblies to fit these .049 engines. I have several engines with broken needles. Is it possible to get needle valve assemblies to fit these .049 engines. I'm even willing to use other manufactures needle valves if I can find some that will fit.

I'm sure someone here has found a way to fix these broken needles. Can you tell me how to do it.

THANKS

No need to answer now, I have learned that I can make my own from 1/72 machine screws

I have used the stock Cox N/V assy from the product motors with the plastic back; in the McCoy/Testors. I can't remember if it was a straight swap- or you might have to drill the venturi out a smidge to get the spraybar to fit in.
