Title: Looking for 1954 Air Trails Hobby Craft Comet Ad
Post by: Mark Boesen on May 24, 2011, 10:02:23 AM
Help!

I'm trying to located a ad of the Hobby Craft Comet Sabre (trail dragger version) gas powered plastic RTF, a gentleman told me he saw a ad in a 1954 Air Trails magazine several years ago, but doesn't remember the month and no longer has magazines.

If anyone has issues from 1954 and can check thru their issues and hopefully scan a copy I'd be grateful. I'm trying to verify that the Comet Sabre tail dragger version came out prior to the more common 1956 (and more advertised) Sabre 44 version with the tricycle gear.

Thanks,

Mark

Found it in "Air Trail HOBBIES for Young Men" both in July & Oct of 1954.
Couldn't put my fingers on my 1954 A.T. stack...

"Tight Lines!" H^^
