MY favorite Cox plane other than the P40 and the FokkerD7, is the Super Stunter. This was the first plane I learned to fly inverted! Larry, if you designed this one, thank you! I flew the version with the hollow wings and because of that design I encountered an exciting flight. Cox fuel made its way under the clear tape which attached the wing to the fuse. The outboard wing slid off and went fluttering in the air to the ground. To my amazement the plane kept on flying and soon made a safe landing. Glad it had plenty of wing area.
Later in the mid eighties I called Cox and bought enough the replacement parts to build another Super Stunter. Cool plane and great memories. Richard
