Sad to say, there were only two entries in 1cc at the Joust. I entered, and when nobody else did, conned Eric Rule into flying my airplane. We both flamed out at exactly the same spot in the 4-leaf clover due to excessive fuel consumption, but boy does that AP/Tee Dee combo sing a sweet song!
I test ran my latest carb with a 5x3, 3-blade tornado prop and peaked at just over 20K on 10% fuel. But then one of the carb retaining screws bailed out and the needle collet loosened up at the same time. Dang, I have a whole passle of props to test, but will have to wait a few days to get back to it. Needless to say, since I was running the engine over grass, the screw was not found. HB~>
Oh, I did come in first #^

Larry,
Congratulations, I think. ;D
Was that one of the original AP Wasp carb mounting screws you lost?

Yup, long gone! I hope to find a source for replacements, though I have several of the engines and am not hurting right now. Thanks!

If you know the screw size, try RTL Fasteners or as I always do most of the time when I only need one or two screws, the local Ace Hardware. Take your engine with you when you go to Ace. DOC Holliday
