I remember having a model kit that I really liked in the 70's, it was produced by a company called JOY. Iwas probably their biggest customer. Do you remember the 1/2A kits that htey made?

Hi Larry,
I can't remember the models except to remember that one of them had the word bug as part of it's name.
Incidentally Joy Products was bought and became Balsa USA.

Larry, Joy Products turned into Balsa USA. They had the stunt runt and the super stunt runt both were bipes.
The pee wee pup and pee wee pursuit.were two more. Both of these were in Flying Models in nov.03 as plans.
The pup was like Walts American Boy. Also a f/f called the Nomad.

To be historically accurate, there was no buy out between Joy and Balsa USA. They were founded and owned by the same guy. He simply changed the name of his company from Joy to Balsa USA when he expanded his line to include balsa sheets, sticks, and blocks. That man is Ron Bush, who still owns and operates Balsa USA.

I want to thank all of you for your help. I just got off of the phone with Ron and he will be sending us a couple of plans from his Joy Products line that we can kit. Now that is something for you to watch for. D>K (Yes dear)
