Title: HALF A FLYER SUBSCRIPTIONS
Post by: LARRY RICE on November 02, 2011, 09:56:48 AM
In the next issue there will be a subscription page to renew or sign up for next years HALF A FLYER.  You can do it NOW if you like as the price is the same: PDF'S $8.00 HARD COPIES $20.00.
There will be single issues offered and back issues offered too but their price will be slightly higher.
Something new will be our own plan service.

REMEMBER THAT IF YOU USE PAY PAL IT MUST BE SENT "MONEY OWED" AND "PERSONAL" OR IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Make all money orders or checks to either "Black Hawk Models" or "Larry Rice".

Thanks
Larry

Hi Larry,

Just sent you a PayPal payment for another year of your excellent magazine!

So far I've only signed up two other subscribers in my club, but promise to do better!  ;D

Want to thank you again for the new Cox Skymaster engine, and BH Golden Hawk hollow log kit, that I won on your subscriber list annual drawing recently.

I also want to thank you for autographing the kit box, making it a rare and valuable collector kit, and saving me the trouble of building it.  ;D ;D

Haven't built a hollow log kit since my early teens, but there is always a chance that it will happen again!  H^^

Bill,

I am glad that you are enjoying the magazine ... there is hope for you yet.  Going back to flying 1/2A does take some adjustment; you need to prepare your self for the most fun you have had in years.  Time and again I go to meets where I see fellow oldesters fly a 1/2A plane for the first time in 40+ years and they wind up ...  LL~
Remember "Have fun!"

Larry

David,

You can get the PDF file for $8.00 (tell us weather you want 2010 or 2011) and if you want this years and next years it will be $16.00.  You can pay through Pay Pal (larrytheredbaron) but it MUST BE SENT "PERSONAL" AND "MONEY OWED" only or an international check or money order to:
Black Hawk Models
300 East Arbor Street #42
Long Beach, Ca, 90805
USA

The hard copy cost $20.00 plus extra shipping of $4.00

Either way you get 4 issues per year at that price.
Would you like a free sample issue?

Larry

Just received the final issue for 2012.

Sorry to see it won't be continuing  :'( As one of the silent majority I have to say it has been a great magazine and while Half A is not for me (It did make me build one though). I always found it a great read and would happily stump up the cash again should it ever return.

Thanks for all the time the various contributors spent making it such a great publication.. CLP**
