Title: GSM Stork
Post by: dennis lipsett on June 03, 2010, 05:12:53 PM
There is an ubconfirmed rumor that Brodak is going to re introduce this model. I certainly hope so and perhaps he will also do the ME-109 and the Spitfire as they use the same wing. Mine is years old and I'd like to have a replacement for it. While the design is a little dated it is basically a profile Nobler in outline and I kind of like it.

Very nice Dennis!!  What engine and tank is that?

Norvel 061 and a Perfect tank if about an ounce. It really needs just a few drops more but at the time it wasn't that important. It will fly nicely on 52 foot .008 lines.

I have flown 3 or 4 Storks, and it seems that no matter how badly built, they fly great.  Good news if Brodak brings it back (as long as he is faithful to the original design!)

Never had the Stork but I built a couple of the Golden State Models Spitfires. They also were excellent kits. I made no effort for a scale finish, I wanted to use up some ancient Aerogloss metalic green and metalic maroon. Powered one with a Big Mig .049, the other with a dieselized TD .049.

I'm sure Brodak will do them justice.
