Break in exactly per instruction sheet. They DO know what they are talking about!
I bought 2 more on the latest sale, just to be sure I never run out! So far the quality has been acceptable on ALL the engines, but being fussy, I returned one that bled a bit too much fuel out the front end. Ran great, but "weeped". They took it back and replaced it with no problem! Nice!!!
Another one had a tight crank, but I LOVE tight engines. You can fit them to your own desires. That one is now one of my main runners.
Actually, I now have 2 that I run regularly and 3 more good, broken-in ones ready to go when I have the planes. One more in parts ready to "tweak". Three more in the box for whenever I need them. I don't expect to ever run out, now. I hate it when engines I love get discontinued. (No, the Wasp is NOT being discontinued, I just am paranoid). (4 Holland Hornets, 4 or 5 Atwoods, 2 RR-1s, several Killer Bees, 4 Medallions, who knows how many Tee Dees in .051, .049, .020 and .010, Cub .049s and diesel versions, miscellaneous PAW .035, .049 and .061s, 2 each Space Bug, Space Hopper and Thermal Hoppers, 3 Venoms, a Cyclon, a couple of VAs, 3 Brodaks, a Stehls et al. I may, barely, make it through my declining years) (Sorry, this IS bragging!!!! but I love it, Nyaaa, Nyaaa, Nyaaa)
Well, I don't have Shiruken, Fora, or the new Enya. I lack a Frog, AM, ED or Webra (well, I do have 2 Webra .09s). I did, after 50 years score a Bambi .009 diesel (traumatic story attached), but had to do some machine work to make it runnable. No OR Midget, Tornado .020, .049 or K&B Allyn Fury engines. You can see I am deprived of the basics of life! So many possibilities, so little money and time!
