Post by: Robert McHam on February 10, 2007, 11:38:53 PM
I happened to run across this purely by accident. I have no idea this guy's affiliation with this modeling hobby but look what he has to share!

I have been wanting to see this for some time now. I nearly cried!

I kept expecting a trick of some kind...the "next lesson" being a scary monster jumping out and screaming or something.  Guess I'm just getting too cynical.  Very interesting read.  Thank you.

Ah now Ray, Don't beat yourself up. Cynicism is a good thing. It does help us look for monsters. And when we find them we will be ready to slay them.

I guess I  may have been a little too cryptic with not telling  what I found. This in itself can cuase anyone to think something is fishy.

For everyone else: You will find the complete 'Building And Flying Model Aircraft’ by Walter Musciano. Text, photos, diagrams and yes the plans themselves.

I met Walter last September. We staged our first Musciano Contest here in Michigan. Walter came for it and so did Larry Rice of Black Hawk models. It was a pleasure to meet both of them. The guys kept Walt busy autographing their model planes and taking their picture with him. He got hugged so much I thought he was going to get squeezed to death.
Larry kept busy giving kids tether planes and showing them how to fly them.
Man that was a fun day.
