Electric Stunt?
« on: November 11, 2009, 09:03:21 AM »
Well it looks like the 1/2a site has been taken over, I think that I will have to go to the "Electric Stunt" section to see about gas powere 1/2a planes.

Well the forum title is "1/2 A building".

Does that mean if I put a 1cc engine in a Black Hawk model that my post should be moved elsewhere? LL~

Larry, If you have any issues with the posting of electric powered 1/2A sized planes then please hit the moderator up and have the thread moved to the electric thread. (I didnt know that it existed when I posted Leccy stuff here) Lets not all get our knickers in a twist by spouting the sizes of 1/2A IC engines... and all this sorta stuff. .061 isnt 1/2a either but..I think it all fits in the same sized BOX and that is why it gets discussed here.

I have seen Electric stuff posted here recently.  I have seen you weigh in with stuff on electric posts before and if you had a current offering in this arena I am sure we would hear from you on it. In fact we did. You had some pretty extensive thoughts on it already based on your research and the folks that you hired. Perhaps this puts some wind back in your sales to pursue that recent  project.

If it does then Bravo as you work pretty hard to get and keep new blood in the Hobby. It suites that mission.  Keep up that good work.  H^^

BTW: I am still watching my mailbox for a parcel from Captain Blackhawk.  ;D

PS: I love the smell of Nitro in the morning and wont be giving up that .049 Buzz anytime soon! Its what used to make us ride our bikes to the park at high speed to see "what was flyin!"  Today.. you have to pry the Video Game out of the fingers of the little ones to get them to look at real hobbies where you cant just hit the reset button and make it all better.

First of all, Mark, am I sending you something? I hope that it is coming from a dealer as I do not know what it would be.
Second, my opinions are my opinions and have nothing to do with Black Hawk Models as it is owned by three, unrelated, people.
Third, I felt that this is getting out of hand when there was not one topic, not two topics but three topics on electric models with in depth discusions on technical electrical matters that would better be of interest to those in electric stunt, not here.
Fourth, I have been bumped from topics for a lot less, things like saying that free kits are available for beginners at a particular hobby store.
Last, I only stepped into the electric topic when another member advocated electric as a good beginner model.

Video games are not given to kids to entertain or educate them they are given to them to occupy them so that their parents do not need to see or hear from them. Simple rule: If you are not going to interact with your kids then don't have them, get a pet.
