Kindness echoes. So does cruelty. People remember both.

1/2A electric for anything be short flights is very hard since the battery is much more weight the fuel would be.

From List Your Setup there is a baby Ringmaster listed with: Scorpion 2205/1585KV - 1900Kv motor (says they will go to the 1900Kv for the second ship), APC 6 x 4 pusher prop, Rhino 610 mAh 3s, Arrowind 12A ESC nongoverning
Hubin FM-0c timer.

That size airplane is good for basic training, but not much good for stunting.  With a battery that lasts about as long as a BabeBee engine run it's about 10-20% heavier.

If your goal is to get someone flying in a circle and not crashing, a little electric with a cheap Chinese car radio is great.  The same plane is fun over pavement (not in the hands of the beginner) to do touch & go landings.

The problem with electric is that once you get the smoke generator and sound system installed, the plane is too heavy.

Problem is getting fuel and a reliable engine.
Also I developed a reaction to exhaust fumes.
It's more of a nostalgia thing for me.
This was one of my best flying planes as a kid.

By some careful shopping, one can buy a Cox .049 tank engine like a Babe Bee fairly cheap on the Internet auctions. If one doesn't mind spending a touch more, they are available new on Cox International, Canada and Ex Model Engines in the east coast.

Recently I got an early 1950's Anderson Royal Spitfire .065 engine for a song by Internet auction, should arrive early next week.

I know this goes against the grain for those wanting pure electric flight.

It's mostly I get an allergic reaction to the exhaust fumes. And also just like pushing a button and take off.

You gottah do what is comfortable for you. Regarding the difficulty in realistic half-A size electric flight, one could upsize the Wizard a touch to A size with bit more wing area to support the battery weight. Then can still have the joy of flying something familiar but with better realism.

If you want to use electric, you could get plenty of flight time with a Thunderpower Pro-lite 3s 910 at 69g and 20-30g motor like the T-motor AM or AS series. They would be 10-20g more than a TD .049 and one oz of fuel and I believe put out quite a bit more power. Don't let the small size fool you. The AM series is designed for 3D RC flying with motor mounting we are used to with holes outside the can. The AS also has outside holes and would be good for your plane. I think the AM40 or AS 2306 or AM 30 or AS 2304 would be a good choice for lilwizard. There are other brands that are cheaper like Dualsky. The T-motors run about $35 for AM and $20 for AS series. You would also need esc and timer weight. The ZTW Mantis Slim esc 20A is 11g.If using 2304, 15A is fine at 9g.I would think you would be okay with any 3S 800mah battery which would be similar in weight to the TP 910. Even smaller might be enough.
