Title: Cyclone: Scratch or Kit?
Post by: Frederick Fielder on March 02, 2007, 09:17:31 AM
Sometime back Bob Z posted pictures (I think) of a Bullet and a Cyclone. Are these in kit form or scratch built from plans?

I heard that Larry Rice over at Blackhawk Models is supposed to kit these in the near future.
I too would like to get a kit of these planes.  Both are supposed to be the biggest wing area of all the Musciano planes.

Thanks Jay. I've e-mailed Captain Blackhawk to ask if such project(s) are in the works. When I get a reply I'll post it here.

Fred,
I never got your Email but then we have been down for a couple of weeks while moving to larger quarters. We are about 50% up and running now.
Yes, both the Bullet and Cyclone will be released in time for the coming contest season. We are having some canopies formed now and if they will fit they will go into the kits. We are also discussing offering them as "Craftsmen" kits where you would do more of the shaping. These two kits are definitely on the table so it will be a couple of months.

We do produce the "Custom Special" which is the same as the "Cyclon" except larger and in profile. A good model for a Norvel .061.

Thanks Larry for your reply. I'll be looking forward to the new kits.
